Prototype adding

11 Oct 2017, 07:50

I have a couple of prototypes/review disks I dumped.
Now I wonder, would it be fine if I release them here on the wiki (use the upload form aswell) to get them "properly" released?.

I have to figure out how to call the releaser and dumper cause... well, I dint entirely release it, but I can figure something out. What is the proper way of releasing something here?
As far as I know, only a couple of people own the disks, and I bougth most of them (resold most of them aswell) but the new owner agreed that we are gonne release them.
There is a posibility that someone sold a disk with a request to never release it, but I never recieved that note with my purchage. So I asume I had the right to release them, and now the new owner did try to release them (he contacted me about this).

If this is the way, I might consider doing more. altho I dont own much. I love this place already.

Welcome!

You can upload files here: http://hiddenpalace.org/Special:Upload
And add prototypes here: http://hiddenpalace.org/Special:FormEdit/Prototype

The dumper is the person who physically transferred the prototype from a CD/cartridge to a file. The releaser is the person/group who released it. If you need to credit other people, you can use the Notes section if you wish.

After you post the files and articles we'll take a look and fix any issues. We'll try to put your releases up with the next news announcement (though it might be a while).

I can't speak to your exact situation without knowing all the details, but in general if you bought it fair and square with no strings attached it's up to you whether to release it or not.

Thanks!

Thank you much @drx

ill prepare both for a upload, I might redump both disks later in live according to redump standards (xqemu is going to require those).
(it apears to be this: http://redump.org/disc/9678/ but purely based on the disk label matching AC00402E and game name. could be R1 and R2 mean release candidate (can also be retail signed)
