Without proof this is the same as me saying I have the holy grail.

I agree with drx on this anyone can say they have something when they don't hell I could say I have the saturn beta of Virtua Fighter 3 and a saturn build of Shenmue but if I don't post any pictures or any form of proof how can I expect people to take me seriously. I don't have either beta btw I was just using those 2 to give you an idea of what me and drx are trying to say. If you want your trade proposition to be taken seriously we need proof that you have the beta post some pics vids etc... and then someone might be willing to trade with you.

Any development on this?

Some years passed now, would the owner of the bk beta cartridge change his/her mind?

As for the BK3 beta, there's a footage here in case someone didn't see it yet:

Because of people like you, saying that prototype/beta collectors are a whole other species is being too kind.

You'd be surprised how many notable game prototype collectors are pathologically closed-minded; and yes, it goes as far as not willing to provide screenshots or even talk to people. An often cited excuse for their refusal to provide screenshots is that the requested game prototype is buried deep in their collection somewhere. I'm sorry, but the hoarding tendencies and superiority complex aren't doing them any favors.

Well if someone that isn't a notable game collector says that they have something and they aren't willing to show "ANY" proof to back their claims up, how are people with common sense supposed to take them seriously? If Fred really has a beta of SOR 1 he should have little to no problem providing something simple to show it, but the fact that he didn't provide anything, makes his claim questionable at best.

That's the point of the "gamble" in this video game prototype business.

Hi there guys, it's Mr.Din from the SoRO boards. I signed up just to see if there may have been any progress on finding this. I noticed on the Brazilian boxart more beta screens slipped through. Unfortunately the actual cart had nothing of interest. I'm also looking for the betas for the other two games as well, hopefully something surfaces.

That's probably what that Fred guy was on. Good thing nobody trusted him then.
And BTW, oh man, has it been 7 years really since I first commented about it?

I think it'd be interesting to check if the "current owner" (to put it politely) is still unwilling to back the cart up or something. I don't see the point to be stubborn after 8 years of owning the beta cartridge. I'm willing to donate either for this or any SOR/BK beta build that could show up.

Yeah, surely 7 years is enough time for the guy to change his mind about keeping the beta to himself.

I'm gonna sound like a broken record but any news on this matter? :)
In the meantime, I found plenty of new prototype screenshots for SoR1 and SoR3. They can be seen there:

Thanks for the link Iceweb38!

Sadly no response from Fred. If you ever come across this thread again, I will pay a *lot* of money for this!
