* Created as a Demo for journalists in Las Vegas. &lt;br /&gt;
* It takes you on a journey from the Security Room to The Supermarket, where you must acquire Brad&#039;s medicine. &lt;br /&gt;
* This version has countless differences from the retail version of Dead Rising. &lt;br /&gt;
* Textures, models, sounds, effects, and everything in-between is all completely different. &lt;br /&gt;
* This build is generally highly unstable&lt;br /&gt;
* This release will includes two optional patches to improve the stability of this build. These patches aim to rectify issues in the code that can cause the game to crash extremely often. It also aims to remove any time limits to provide a more limitless and enjoyable experience. The patches can be found in the [Patch] folder.&lt;br /&gt;

In 1998, Sega would release its Dreamcast console, and with it, Sonic&#039;s first foray into the world of 3D platforming: Sonic Adventure. A few years later, a sequel would also come out on the Dreamcast. Sadly, that would be the last new Sonic game to appear on Sega&#039;s own hardware, as they would soon after exit the console business and become a third party software developer. For Sonic, this meant ports of his two most recent outings on the Dreamcast to the Nintendo GameCube. On December 30, 2003 Sega would release a new entry in the 3D Sonic series: Sonic Heroes. This would become Sega&#039;s first simultaneous multiplatform release, hitting shelves on all three major consoles on the same day.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Development on Sonic Heroes was, to put it mildly: challenging. For Dreamcast games, Sega would be able to rely on their own home-grown Katana SDK, which obviously was not an option option anymore. Instead, Sega adopted RenderWare, a popular 3D graphics abstraction libary that was designed to ease the burden of 3D software development. In particular, it made developing for the relatively complex PlayStation 2 architecture less cumbersome, and allowed developers to re-use more code meant for other consoles.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The game was announced during the leadup to E3 2003, and had a playable demo for all three consoles on the show floor the demo played relatively the same for all versions. On the surface, it appeared development was going smoothly, however behind the scenes, it was anything but. Takashi Iizuka, a Sonic Team mainstay since Sonic 3, had his role split between director and level designer. Iizuka has called the development of Sonic Heroes the most stressful of his career. Iizuka was the only US-based employee working on the game, and one of only two level designers. At some point during development, he became the only level designer when his co-designer got sick and stopped showing up to work. In an interview with Game Informer, he recalled: &amp;quot;I didn’t sleep at all and I was constantly working. I lost about [22 pounds] because I was just cranking away and it was just work, work, work. I didn’t sleep because I had to finish the game on my own. Almost dying!&amp;quot;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Beyond level design, this was Sonic Team&#039;s first outing doing multiplatform development, and their first time using RenderWare. Sega&#039;s response to the struggles of the development team is one they&#039;ve used many a time for Sonic games: crunch crunch crunch. In order to meet the deadline, and to make sure all platforms released on the same day, the team worked until the last second to finish the game. Despite having RenderWare in their toolbox, the PS2 version of the game prove to be the most challenging to develop for. In order to maintain a stable framerate, the PS2 version was limited to 30fps instead of the 60fps of the Xbox and GameCube versions. As all prior prototypes of the game have been for Xbox and GameCube, were have not had a deep insight into how the PS2 version development went during this critical crunch period...&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

This build of Sonic Heroes has a burn date of October 2, and its file structure suggests that it was build about 5 days prior. This puts it close to the October 8 build on the GameCube, yet shows some clear differences in terms of performance and general stability. Unlike the final PS2 build, this build actually runs at a 50fps (due to being a PAL build), and is able to maintain that fps for the most part. It also shows some clear signs of divergence to its GameCube contemporary. For example, the GameCube build has an earlier title screen from the E3 version, and more placeholder text, despite being what appears to be a later build of the game. The file structure and inclusion of more debugging symbols also seems to suggest tht this is more of a &amp;quot;development snapshot&amp;quot; of sorts, perhaps even a &amp;quot;first burn&amp;quot; of sorts of the full game for the PS2 instead of a limited demo. This build gives us another precious puzzle piece to put into the complex and hectic development picture of Sonic Team&#039;s first multiplatform experience.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

* While the file modified dates were scrubbed by the leaker, the leaker identified the build as from October 26, and comments in files are as late as October 24th. The main DukeForever.exe file has an internal build timestamp of August 21st&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
* Included with this release is the game&#039;s editor(CannibalEd.exe and DukeEd.exe), source code and some optional stability patches. A separate download containing a press kit was also released.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
* This build is in a very unfinished state. Much of the first level is completable, albeit it with cheats needed as there is a point where the game spawns you inside of an object.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Crash Bandicoot: Warped started development in January 1998 and its developer, Naughty Dog, was given less than a year to complete the game. Despite this, they were able to greatly expand on the gameplay formula they had initially found success with in the first two Crash Bandicoot games. Warped contains, in addition to the 3D platforming levels Crash games are known for, levels where you control a motorcycle, plane, and jetski, the later two provide a much wider range of movement that Crash levels have traditionally seen.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

During its development, preview builds of the game were sent off to the different regional arms of Sony Computer Entertainment to provide to magazines for preview purposes. Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) distributed the majority of preview builds, but in Europe, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) only received four builds: News Version, Preview Version 1, Preview Version 2, and Review Version. Prior to today, only Preview Version 2 and Review Version have been made public. Today&#039;s release closes the gap with Preview Version 1, which is, to date, the earliest build of Crash 3 ever released!&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Dated July 17, this build is dated about a month before the Alpha NTSC-U build from August, and over a week before the (very limited) first public demo of the build. This build would be seen in various magazine publications and trailers across the US and Europe, showcasing it&#039;s various differences such as an early level names, layouts and implementation of the time trial system.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The release of this build could not be possible without the incredible fundraising effort by Darkaiser, who was able to raise enough money to allow the game to be released publicly. Darkaiser has previously been a part of our Crash Landing 2019 release, and this build puts us one step closer to getting the full picture of the rapid 10 month development cycle Crash 3 took. Just this release alone would be enough to satisfy even the most diehard fan…&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

In addition to the Preview Build, Darkaiser has also secured an asset disc for Crash 3. These discs were sent to magazine publishers to add high-resolution art to their preview pages, and are rarely seen in their original, high-resolution quality. This release will be added to our growing catalog of asset press discs. We hope to have much more to share on this exciting endeavor in the near future, so stay tuned!&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The following is a tech demo for the Nintendo DS created by Climax based on Rare Ltd’s Diddy Kong Racing. This demo is dated as being produced on May 27th, 2004, about five months before the release of the DS! It (mostly) works fine on modern emulators, minus some graphical issues. This version of the demo also appears to have no proper collision, allowing players to drive through walls.&lt;br /&gt;
