An early tech demo with basic controls implemented.
==Notes==
* Demo was implemented by Alexander Ehrath, a contract video game developer.
* One scene from the PC version is partially implemented.
* Move the pointer around with the D-pad. Pick up and put down objects with the Z button. Scroll left with L and right with R. Play a voice clip with A.
* The scene can not be completed. In the PC version, the Cistern object can fill up the bucket. In the Saturn port, it doesn't work.
A late localization prototype of the US version of Clockwork Knight 2 for the Sega Saturn. While this version would later go on to be used for the final PAL version of the game, the final US version would be released later and be instead based on the code for the Japanese exclusive title "Clockwork Knight: Pepperouchau no Fukubukuro", making this version very different to the final US product.
==Notes==
This prototype was bought from a private seller on eBay in late 2017. The seller said they bought it from a "gentleman in Santa Cruz, Californa, who used to be a developer", along with a bunch of other games, including another Saturn production CD-R (No idea what that may be).

The date of this build appears to be 1995.08.30 (Based on the file dates), which would make this build just over 1 month newer than JP release (1995.07.28), just under 2 months before the final PAL version release (1995.10.27) and 5/6 months before the final US version release (1996.01/02).

Just to be clear, this is not simply a conversion of the later dated PAL version, as mentioned above, the file creation dates for this builds burn are 1995.08.30, where as the final PAL version's files have a creation date of 1995.09.08, making this build around 10 days earlier.

This seems to be a 95-98% copy (If not 99-100%), and is possibly the version shown in several Saturn VHS promo tapes around the time.

The game was burned to a blank Sega Saturn branded CD-R (Common at the time for proto builds), and has the following text written on the CD: JM CK2 #3 8.30

An interesting thing to note is, as this was the same version that was later used for the PAL release, it actually contains a "credits" screen after defeating the final boss and watching the ending FMV, unlike the US version of the title, which simple brings you back to the title screen after counting the cards you collected in the game (Which is the same case for Clockwork Knight: Pepperouchau no Fukubukuro). It also includes the "Crazy TV" boss fight at the start of the game, as is the case with the Japanese and PAL versions of Clockwork Knight 2.

==Screenshots==
Above mentioned "Crazy TV" mini-boss that is part of this build as standard, but is not present in the final build of the US version of the game outside of a cheat code to unlock an alternate character "Ginger":
An early tech demo with basic controls implemented.
==Notes==
A very early build of the unreleased Sega Saturn port of Destruction Derby 2 with one single playable track.
==Notes==
Prototype dumped from 2 discs. The two discs are separated into seperate RAR archives inside the main zip file.

The first called “DD2 frontend dump” has an intro movie and a Title Screen/Main Menu. The second called “DD2 game section dump” has the playable track.

Writing on both discs state a date of May 06, 1995, but the build date for the files on the first disc is May 8, 1997, and May 7, 1997 on the second disc.

Matches up to a build seen in a YouTube video uploaded in 2011 titled [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBu3iTtGkVk “SegaSaturn.co.uk presents a video from Segafreak, donated by forum regular Anthaemia”].
}}
An early, WIP Localization of the game "Fantastep (ファンタステップ)" for the Sega Saturn.
==Notes==
This game never ended up releasing outside of Japan on [https://segaretro.org/Fantastep both Sega Saturn and Playstation], despite a UK Sega Saturn brochure from 1995 stating that it was an [https://segaretro.org/images/3/39/Saturn_UK_Catalogue_1995.pdfwas "upcoming title"].

The build has the "Sep 24, 1996" date as this is the "Last modification date" of the files. The text written on the disc also confirms this date. The disc uses a default date of "Nov. 22, 1994" in the game header, which is actually the launch date of the Sega Saturn in Japan. The final build date for the game is "March 6, 1997", which gives us about 5 and a half months of dev time between this build and the final retail release.

The main menu has been translated to English, although the game logo still remains the same as the Japanese version. The game has several "invisible" strings in the options menu (which itself looks quite different to the retail game), but are still selectable such as "control setup" and "volume options". The "Sound Test" and "Return to Main Menu" options are also invisible.

In addition to this, there is a selectable "invisible" option on the options menu that isn't available in the final retail version of the game which lets you see a special image gallery. To see this menu, you simly press "Down" 3 times and then "C" while in the options menu. Pressing C on each image will bring up the title of the image, along with notes by the artist. This may or may not be an unlockable option in the final retail version of the game, but in this prototype it is there for you to view very easily.

An early, WIP Localization of the game "Fantastep (ファンタステップ)" for the Sega Saturn.
==Notes==

After a quick play, it appears that the main game has yet to be translated, but that is after a very short playthrough, so it is not currently know if later parts have been translated.
A public fundraiser to secure various Sega Saturn prototype discs was conducted sometime in 2021 by [https://obscuregamers.com the Obscure Gamers community.] The builds available for purchase were primarily used for magazine reviews and previews somewhere in the PAL region. This release also contains a few PlayStation 1 and Xbox builds as well. A total of around 78 discs were acquired and dumped. The dumps were released on May 8th, 2021. <br>

All discs have been dumped with a Plextor PX-W4012TA on latest firmware (kindly donated by Merlin), and with DICUI unless the discs had C2 errors. In which case they're dumped with CloneCD. We tried dumping with other drives but, the Plextor still gave the best results so all are Plextor dumps.

The Saturn build dates are based on the most recent file as mastering time stamps were wrong in cases.
}}
An early, WIP Localization of the game "Fantastep" for the Sega Saturn.
==Notes==

Otherwise, it uses a default date of "Nov.

After a quick play, it appears that the main game has yet to be translated, but that is after a very short playthrough, so it is not currently know if later parts have been translated.
