Notes

  • Early prototype.
  • Different Atari logo.
  • Loads up a FMV instead of a static intro.
  • Font is slightly darker in this build.
  • Slightly different title screen. The registered trademark symbol is white instead of black, making it hard to see. The Japanese characters in the logo are centered while it's been moved slightly to the right in the final.
  • Different main menu. MULTIPLAYER is referred to as 2P Player in this build.
  • You can't select option from the main menu using start button in htis build.
  • OPTIONS menu is missing the ERASE DATA option.
  • This build has an option to turn BLOCK on and off that was removed from the final build.
  • Temporary credits screen - "CREDITS GO HERE".
  • RECORDS screen has a TOURNAMENT option that was removed from the final build.
  • Some fighter icons are different. Cell, Gotanks, Buu, and Nappa are unlocked from the start. Character name is above the character sprite rather than below it like in the final. Character select screen is missing the current mode on the top.
