This is a prototype that include a build date/version number and a lot of debug feature all over the game activities.

Notes

  • Data in the build is stored uncompressed while retail have all the game data inside a big Datas.lwc file.
  • Different boot screen logos (Don't have Valcon Game logo, and Game Life logo is only on bottom screen).
  • Don't have any press the touch screen to start menu after selecting language and don't have a warning displayed on screen if the piano keyboard isn't deteted by the game.
  • More language are available in this build than in retail EU (final don't have DE and IT)
  • Different start song played at the boot of the build
  • Doesn't write anything to the save file
  • Display version number on main menu (called "Music Room") : v.090722b. It correspond to a build date with YYMMDD pattern, 22 July 2009)


  • Learning Mode have some debug features:

L or R in lessons allow to directly go to the start of the lesson before/after the current one In activities, all minigames have their own debug menu available by pushing select. You can also swap between all activities immediately just by pushing L or R


  • Pianist Mode also have some interesting stuff:

It have a song list named "test", dedicated to testing, who not exist in the final game. This "test" list include a super mario world theme, that is also inside the game data sound files This mode also don't have the Tutorial option.
