A prototype of Grand Theft Auto 2 for the PlayStation.

Notes

  • Compiled 9 days before the final PAL build.
  • The title screen features additional PlayStation and ratings icon trademarks copyright text at the bottom.
  • Starting a new game immediately starts Training mission's tutorial, because there is no payphone in front of the safehouse like in the final game. Instead the mission is given by the guy standing in front of it. It's possible to kill him, but every time you reach the safehouse, he'll respawn starting again the tutorial which also causes a bug when loading saved game.
  • Miscellaneous Notes:
    • Game is emulatable: Yes (as of April 17, 2021).
    • Game contains dongle protection: No.
    • Game contains debugging symbols: N/A
