An early prototype of Hot Wheels World Race for the PlayStation 2.

==Notes==

*Dated 8 months before the final build. Seems to match the build seen in pre-release footage.
*Uses the unused "Boy_Band.bog" image for the title screen.
*Uses the unused opening.
*Very different logo.
*Cheats were separate menu options.
*The car selection screen are 3D models instead of a car driving on a track.
*There are 15 cars instead of 35.
*There are 10 tracks instead of 15.
*Smash Mouth's "Hot" is used for the main menu instead of the remix by Steve Rockett.
*Mist Mountain was called Oriental Mountain.
*All levels have the Wave Rippers theme as a placeholder for other music in the game.
*There are no opening cutscenes for levels in this version.
*All of the courses are in a primitive state, lack barriers, Flaming Wheels, and they have minimum detail.
*There is a respawn button. In the final game, the player can only respawn if they land on their roof or falls down an endless pit.
