Notes

  • Type CARS in the cheat menu to unlock all the cars in Arcade Mode.
  • Type ALL. in the cheat menu to apply all the cheats.
  • Type DOSH in the cheat menu to set Career cash to $1,000,000.
  • Type CREW in the cheat menu to unlock all Crew Members in Career.
  • Type WIN. in the cheat menu to automatically win any event regardless of finishing position.
  • Type RESP in the cheat menu to set Career Respect for all Crews to 2,000.
  • Type LOCK in the cheat menu to unlock all Arcade/Custom Race cars and tracks.
  • Typing CHAR in the cheat menu displays a message for the "Talking Head" Character test mode. Just like in the Final build (once deactivated cheats have been re-enabled), this test mode can be accessed upon entering the Bet Screen against another driver. The triggers for this version are as follows:
    • [CIRCLE] allows you to cycle through characters in the same order in which they appear in the Respect menu. [SQUARE] does nothing.
    • [X] and [START] let you advance through each character's animations, while [TRIANGLE] returns you to the previous one.

- Plenty of the animations seem to be duplicates of each other. A notorious example is the Pink Slip Proposal animations, which are all apparently duplicated for all characters.

- One of the I-am-waiting animations for T.K. is duplicated, except that he has a pen laying on his right ear in one of the versions.

- T.K. and Carlos are lacking a waiting animation; once you encounter it, the video window goes blank and the game softlocks. Both can be "accessed" by pressing [TRIANGLE] twelve times (in the case that you are initially granted with the welcome-for-the-first-time animation).

- Right after Biggi's let-me-think-about-your-bet-for-a-moment animations, there is a broken one with his face awkwardly frozen and no audio. The game still operates normally upon encountering it, nonetheless.

- One of Jack's Rival Lost Last Bet animations (most probably a discarded one), where he claims he had lost for being too focused on a girl he had hooked up with the night before, features a completely different background, plus he sports brown hair and a very different hairstyle that better resembles your average American rich kid. This setup is also applied in a duplicate of one of his Player Has Better Car animations as well as one Player's Proposed Bet is Too Low animation, except the latter's video is a still image.

- One of Melody's Pink Slip Proposal animaitons comprises a still image where her face looks awkward. It is highly probable that this animation was discarded, as her dialog here is exceedingly long. To access it, press [CIRCLE] until you see her, then press [TRIANGLE] once.
