A prototype of Killer is Dead Nightmare Edition for the PC.
Notes
This is a prototype of Killer is Dead Nightmare Edition. Originally released on August 1st 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360 and then May 23, 2014 for PC as Nightmare Edition. This version is compiled 5 Months before the the final PC build.
- Compiled 5 months before the final PC build.
- Keyboard controls do not work on this build. Controller is mandatory in order to play it.
- Build contains two splash screens not seen in the final game.
- This build seems to be a direct port of Xbox 360 version as it tries to connect to the 360 leaderboard at the end of every level.
- It retains licensed music that was removed from the final PC build.
- NIGHTMARE mode is included, however it is in a much earlier state. Instead acting as a simple harder difficulty that can be selected from the menu. It is also spelled as "NIGHT MARE" likely due to translation issues.
- Contains some debug command that can be activated using the function keys. (F1, F2, etc)
- Level 3 contains a bug where it will break when trying to play it, this can be fixed by quitting to the title and reloading the save.
- Contains a BGM folder where all the music is located. Likely for testing purposes.
