Notes

The Cutting Room Floor research
  • The previous upload of this prototype contained lots of fragged files as it was a WIP recovery. The current upload (8/1/2024) has most of these files recovered with the exception of template_sky2d.elf.
  • This build was originally deleted on the hard drive it came from and many files had to be manually defragmented.
  • Appears to be unplayable, as the game crashes before any level is able to be played. The Pipes level makes it in-game, but it still crashes as soon as the countdown is over.
  • Despite crashing, all of the levels are able to be viewed in the model viewer with nGames_R.exe. Add the filenames and file path of the level to data\viewer\FileList.txt
  • Boots into a debug level select by default. Removing menu.cfg will allow the player to go to the main menu.
  • The build expects a USB controller to be connected.
  • There is no title screen. The game jumps to the main menu after the opening logos.
  • The main menu is very basic.
  • The HUD has a different design.
