A prototype of Scarface: The World Is Yours for the Microsoft Xbox.
Notes
- This build was successfully pieced back together from dumps of three Xbox Debug Kits that happened to have the same deleted build on them.
- Built about three and a half months before the first available final build.
- Boots straight into a level select.
- Selecting The Diaz Brothers from the level select will spawn Tony into an empty map. You must load the previous mission and progress normally to bypass the bug.
- The game's opening FMV is very different. It just consists of assorted clips from the movie.
- Load times are very slow. It takes about two minutes to load into the first level.
- The loading text just says "loading" instead of displaying the Scarface logo.
- Random crashes may occur during normal mission progression.
- Some strings still refer to PS2 controls.
- A debug menu can be accessed while the game is paused.
- The radar is different.
- The map is different.
- The M16 has a different firing sound.
- The Balls icon is different as it shows a full bull instead of just the head in the final game.
- The Exotics icon is also different as it shows a diamond instead of a crown in the final game.
- Heat notoriety also has a different icon as it shows a fist instead of a skull in the final game.
- Cop notoriety has a different design for the badge.
- The Turf icon has the classic TM logo instead of the big M logo.
- The distance meter is different.
- Icons on the radar are different colors.
- Blind Rage is unfinished. It also shows the meter going down in the style of a timer.
- Hirelings was the original name for Henchmen when accessing the Exotics menu.
- A Mechanic hireling is present among the other hirelings.
- The Driver hireling has a placeholder picture.
- Some cutscenes are very unfinished.
- AI is broken.
- A speedometer is present when driving a vehicle.
