An early prototype of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six for the Dreamcast.
Notes
- Over 6 months before final.
- There doesn't seem to be any sound beyond the FMVs.
- A good chunk of the menus have a mouse cursor that can be controlled with the analog stick, as D-Pad cannot navigate through everything. Presing the right trigger does a left mouse click.
- Attempting to enter the campaign consistently locks up the game upon pressing ENTER after inputting a name, regardless of it running on an emulator, on console from GDEMU, or the original GD-R. The training mode does work, however.
- The controls menu is completely empty.
- The help option in the main menu does nothing.
- The training mode does not bring up any tutorial text.
- The HUD in-game is missing things such as the ammo count.
- The only audio track in the HD area is a duplicate of the warning message from the LD area, just with less silence at the end.
- There is a long list of constants in a text file, CONSTANTS.TXT, which is not found in the final.
- The FMVs are in .avi format, unlike the final's .sfd format.
- The RAINBOWSIX_1 FMV is different.
