A late prototype of Sonic Spinball for the Sega Mega Drive.
Notes
- Released sometime in 1993 by PREMIERE over BBS before the game was released. The ROM contains data for scene intro by the group.
- Was the subject of controversy due to legal litigation surrounding the distribution of the prototype (along with Jurassic Park) in "Sega Enterprises Ltd. v. Maphia".
- The original release archive is currently lost, but the ROM continued to be distributed by the Chinese through ROM sites and bootleg CDs, cartridges, and Super Magic Drive floppies. The original archive was renamed "MD10003.zip" to reflect that this was the third 10Mbit ROM released. The original ROM file that was discovered was time-stamped Oct 8th, 1999.
- The ROM was rediscovered in August 2000 by User:Elliot, which allowed the ROM to be properly identified and archived.
