- More language are available in this build than in retail EU (final don't have DE and IT)
- Different start song played at the boot of the build
- Doesn't write anything to the save file
- Display version number on main menu (called "Music Room") : v.090722b. It correspond to a build date with YYMMDD pattern, 22 July 2009)
- Learning Mode have some debug features:
L or R in lessons allow to directly go to the start of the lesson before/after the current one In activities, all minigames have their own debug menu available by pushing select. You can also swap between all activities immediately just by pushing L or R
- Pianist Mode also have some interesting stuff:
It have a song list named "test", dedicated to testing, who not exist in the final game. This "test" list include a super mario world theme, that is also inside the game data sound files This mode also don't have the Tutorial option.
