A prototype/prerelease build of Burnout Paradise for the Xbox 360 from 2007-10-31.
Notes
default.xex
, the game binary, is code identical to final with the same compile date (October 31, 2007, 16:48:19), except:
- The game is devkit signed instead of retail.
- The Media ID is nulled in the header.
- The minimum system version is different.
- The media type is different.
- Different age ratings (all international instead of just US)
- A different system update is bundled.
- 0x328D to 0x32A6 in
VEHICLELIST.BUNDLE
are different. However, these bytes appear to be part of some kind of SHA256 hash to verify the bundle file's integrity and appear to have been overwritten with random bytes, therefore this appears to have been some kind of corruption.
All other files are identical.
