Originally a game made with the Superman IP in mind. It was then reworked to incorporate a generic superhero for unknown reasons before ultimately being cancelled.

- Notable for being worked on by infamous Japanese game designer, the late-Kenji Eno.
- There have been some conflicting claims as to the reason for the IP change:
- Developer EIM supposedly couldn't come to an agreement with Sunsoft over how the game should be made.
- It is also possible that Sunsoft may not have actually had the rights to produce an NES Superman game to begin with, and this was simply a pitch to Superman's IP holders.
