A prototype of Persona 5 for the PlayStation 3 from Feb 26, 2016. Dated around 4.5 months before the final build, it contains a debug menu and many differences to the final game.
Notes
The Cutting Room Floor research
- Debug menu can be opened by pressing in the right stick, and left stick closes it. Using a mouse opens an additional debug menu on right click.
- XMB shows the game as "XRD664" and uses an early logo for the game.
- Early songs are present and lack Lyn's vocals.
- Despite the date on the disc being February 25th, the internal build date seen in-game is one day later, the 26th.
- Menu has a few differences. Menu theme is missing instruments. Shading is a bit darker, Joker has no shadow, and the Atlus and P Studio logos and text at the bottom right are bigger, and it uses the colored version of the Atlus logo.
