This prototype has a research article on TCRF.

• Predates the final game by two weeks.
• One level demo.
• The demo is encrypted, and cannot be played on an emulator unless decrypted using a real Nintendo 3DS.
• Title screen is similar to the final game, however the game logo has the word Demo plastered on top of it.
• Main menu screen has been simplified with only 3 options, "Play Demo", "Watch Trailer", and "To Nintendo eShop".
