A prototype of Far Cry 3 for the Xbox 360.

Notes

  • Predates the final build by 7 months.
  • Multiplayer Internal Build.
  • Originally found on a Terarelease 1.0 hdd (Ubisoft Massive HDD #1 - Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed 4.rar).
  • The cooperative maps in the final version are inside the multicommon and not in their own worlds. The same can be said for the frontendworld.
  • The map editor can be accessed.
  • "one file within the archive is lost as I can't identify the fragments in the data - ui\supertextures\weaponandgadgetlib_0.xbt".
  • This build is problematic, it is unknown if this is a Xenia issue or not, but the build tends to crash sometimes. Another problem is that most of the time, the user will get stuck on a game login screen that for some reason stays on that screen indefinitely, although there is a chance that a message will appear saying that the login failed and the player can continue.
  • Contains 2 .xex that allow you to run the game and based on tests carried out on Xenia Canary on Jun 19, 2024 it can be said that:
    • fcx.xex: Sometimes crash (the article photo corresponds to this .xex);
    • fcx_r.xex: Shows a Black Screen.
  • Original filename: Far Cry 3 MP (March 30, 2012) [FLINT-MSV-MAIN-PACKAGE-749].3.7z
