A prototype of "Grand Theft Auto IV" for the Xbox 360.

Notes

  • Roughly 95% intact. The files in the "movies" folder, the "common" folder, and the xbox360.rpf file no longer exist in the devkit.
  • The build name is 78, while the retail EU version is 118.
  • audio.rpf and common.rpf were extracted via hex while componentpeds.img and nj_03.img were degrafmented.
  • The xex file has a dongle, run "GTA4Final_xenon_patched.xex," which is a modified version of the original.
  • The unmodified xex file is fragmented. The second download link contains the executable.
  • Unfortunately, the build freezes at a certain point due to a lack of critical assets. Using assets from the retail version will only allow the screen shown in the photo to appear, however there is no way to exit that screen.
  • NOTE: If you are going to edit the page, use the "Edit source" option. Otherwise, the first download link will be in the wrong position when saved.
