A DLC prototype of Mass Effect for the Xbox 360.
The name Caleston refers to a cut planet from the game. However, this DLC is actually an early version of the Bring Down the Sky DLC, based on a version of the mission that was intended to appear in the main game.
This iteration differs from the final DLC in some significant ways. It takes place on a different map, titled Hasabe Asteroid.
Unlike the final, this mission has a time limit. Shepard's team has 20 minutes to find three generators (located in mine shafts rather than bases) and shut them down.
The large base in the final DLC (based on the hub from the cut planet, Caleston) is no where to be found. Instead, there is one standard base. Outside this base are three crates containing new armor and weapons not found in the base game.
Most notably, the enemies you fight are humans, not Batarians. Datamined files from the base game show the original plot of this quest involved human terrorists who are "machine cultists." File:Mass Effect Caleston DLC Galaxy Map.png
