Alpha 1.0.0 was released to the public on June 30, 2010. Two days before, there was a downloadable offline client tech test on the website. Alpha 1.0.0 was first labeled as "Minecraft Infdev" when you first started up a game and loaded up a world.

Notes

• Alpha 1.0.0 was labeled as Minecraft Infdev when you loaded up a world.

• Wood and Cobblestone stairs were only the Wood Planks texture and the Cobblestone texture as the stair texture was not added until Alpha 1.0.1.

• The last infinite liquid source is removed, which is the lava variant.
