A prototype of Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter - EX Edition for the Sony Playstation. Was often mistaken as the final Japanese version, the actual origins of the build are unknown.
Notes
- Compiled circa two months before the final Japanese version.
- Executable is called "X.EXE", most likely a reference to "X-Man VS Street Fighter".
- "Hero Battle" and "Illustrations" are not selectable and are missing on the disc.
- "Ending Collection" has all the endings already unlocked.
- HP Bar is yellow in all modes like the Arcade version, instead of blue.
- Training Mode shows "KEY RECORD WAIT".
- "BEGINNER" and "EASY" control schemes are different.
- Apocalypse mode ends at STAGE 7 instead of STAGE 8.
