The following is a Japanese store demo of New Super Mario Bros. Unlike the other demos for this game, there is no time limit and you are still able to save your progress. This specific version was created in late 2009 for use with Nintendo DSi XL kiosks.

Differences

  • Minigames are inaccessible.
  • The game will automatically boot past the DS home menu.
  • Various files have been removed from the demo.
  • There are minor changes within files relating to bonus stages.
  • BUILDTIME file reads the following: JROM2009-10-23 16:23:25soejima
