Everything ~~(?)~~ uploaded to Steam during the legacy Steam2 period (September 2003 to ~~early~~ 2013) prior to ~~Steampipe~~ (13 TB) was ~~dumped~~.

"Everything" uploaded to Steam during the legacy Steam2 period (September 2003 to January-February 2013) prior to SteamPipe (13 TB). This dump, is called as the '''Steam2 Content Server Dump''' and was shared on August 29, 2026.

This even includes test depots, not to mention any prototypes that may exist both in test depots and those that store retail builds. It's worth noting that not everything that existed can be obtained, such as some prototypes from Just Cause 2.

In the dump, each file name is formatted like <code>[depot_id]_[version]_[crc]_[hash]</code>. DATs contain the depot data, while blobs are their accompanying metadata.

Unfortunately, there's not much ValveTestApp depot dump at this time, some of them destroyed, or renamed or nether uploaded to their server.
