Notes
The Cutting Room Floor research
Differences
- The options menu sends you to an animation test screen.
- The player select screen is very different from the final game.
- Only Round 1 is playable.
- The prototype lacks sound effects, with the sections where those would be stored in the ROM being blanked out.
- The scrapped music track "Walking Bottom" is played throughout.
- The player cannot pick up weapons, even if they are within range.
- Max has a different sprite set and can vault enemies, which means he cannot perform his Atomic power throw.
