A prototype of Far Cry 4 for the Xbox 360.
Notes
- This prototype was taken from a hdd called "xdk 6.2.2024" (provided by mrpinball64).
- Unfortunately it was not possible to recover all files. The essential files missing are fcc_main.dat (thus making singleplayer/co-op unplayable) and most of the multicommon files (making multiplayer maps unplayable). However, the world qamap, prototypes, fcc_render_test and the fcc_d90_dlc (Valley of the Yetis DLC) are complete and playable. Possibly, adding the missing dat (and also fat) files through Far Cry 4 (Aug 26, 2014 23.20 prototype) could fix the build and make it functional.
- Contains a manifest that allows you to see in detail the list of recovered and unrecovered files.
How to Directly Access Playable Worlds in Xenia Canary
- Although the four worlds mentioned above are playable, it is impossible to advance on the first screen of the game as a message will be shown mentioning that the multicommon files are missing. Therefore, the only way to access these worlds without adding the files mentioned above is through the following steps.
- 1. Use a text editing program like Notepad ++ and open "xenia-canary.config.toml";
- 2. In the "[Kernel]" category, there is an option named "cl". It is used to enter initialization parameters;
- 2.1. To access the world of the Alley of the Yetis DLC, you must insert the text within quotation marks: -world fcc_d90_dlc
- 2.2. [Incomplete]
