  • The initial development for the game was primarily focused on the Midwestern Region of the United States, as it was the most associated with tornadoes, hence the working title of "Tornado Alley".
  • The Warner Bros. Games logo alongside the Loose Cannon Studios logo is present on the cover.
  • Proposed mechanics such as avoiding or destroying storm chasers and news vans are subsequently absent from the 2007 document.
