A demo build of Gran Turismo 4 for the Sony PlayStation 2.
Background
Known as the BMW 1 Series demo, it launched for the presentation of, well, the BMW 1 Series. It included 2 versions (120i, and 120d) and 3 circuits, including the Nürburgring (with a 3 minute limit or 1 lap). The disc was included in a package that was delivered to buyers of a Series 1 that was purchased for pre-sale in the United Kingdom. The event was held at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Northamptonshire.
Notes
- The demo begins with an intro showing the main car, the BMW 1 Series 120d and 120i.
- You can drive the car in its different versions, on several 1-lap circuits:
- Nürburgring
- New York
- Costa di Amalfi
- 5 supported languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
- After each race a complete replay of the same is shown and at the end of the replay, the game returns to the main menu.
