Notes

  • Dated 8 months before the final build. Seems to match the build seen in pre-release footage.
  • Uses the unused "Boy_Band.bog" image for the title screen.
  • Uses the unused opening.
  • Very different logo.
  • Cheats were separate menu options.
  • The car selection screen are 3D models instead of a car driving on a track.
  • There are 15 cars instead of 35.
  • There are 10 tracks instead of 15.
  • Smash Mouth's "Hot" is used for the main menu instead of the remix by Steve Rockett.
  • Mist Mountain was called Oriental Mountain.
  • All levels have the Wave Rippers theme as a placeholder for other music in the game.
  • There are no opening cutscenes for levels in this version.
  • All of the courses are in a primitive state, lack barriers, Flaming Wheels, and they have minimum detail.
  • There is a respawn button. In the final game, the player can only respawn if they land on their roof or falls down an endless pit.
