- Different Microsoft Game Studios logo.
- The legal screen is a placeholder.
- The announcer is absent from the title screen.
- Apparently the game was known as Hydro Thunder 2 at this point in development.
- The main menu background has a different design.
- A cheats menu is accessible from the main menu.
- The novice logo on Select Boat has a different design.
