A prototype of Monkey Hero for the PlayStation, Developed by Blam! and Published by T2. This prototype is dated November 30, 1998, 2 months before the final version.
Notes
- Different Take 2 logo. Says copyright 1998 instead of copyright 1999 and logo itself is different.
- Text when starting a new game says "Memory Card" instead of "MEMORY CARD" like in final.
- Final game starts you with 4 peaches, prototype starts you with 3.
- The final game has unused text that says the name of the developer, computer it was built on, and date/time it was built on. In the prototype, that string reads "Created by gmarquez on "POOHBEAR" on Monday November 30 1998 at 10:41:15 AM", while the final game's equivalent is "Created by lpique on "DOGBERT" on Wendsday February 3 1999 at 4:28:15 PM".
There are likely differences further in the game, but in our testing we only played the first section of the game.
