Notes

  • Only the first 1048MB of this master disc image were used as padding inside of Ys VI - The Ark of Napishtim (Feb 2, 2005 demo).
  • The build was unplayable in the state that it was found in, so some missing files were borrowed from JP final.
  • The original unmodified image is present inside the rebuilt ISO as DUMMY.
  • Dated nearly one year before the first available final build.
  • Boots straight into a debug level select.
  • The first level has different lighting and background textures.
  • Text boxes are stylized differently.
  • Some levels will crash the build, so you will have to use the level select to skip them.
  • Debug text appears on screen for event portals.
  • Holding down triangle activates noclip mode. Release the button to exit.
  • Selecting VIEWER enables a character viewer.
  • Selecting BATTLE will jump the player straight into a battle of their choice.
  • FEITAS is the only option from MINI GAME that will not crash the build.
  • Selecting SOUND enables a sound test.
  • Pressing select while in-game returns to the level select.
  • Original filename: Genso Suikoden V (Dec 22, 2004) [Rebuilt with Retail Files].rar
