Todays status:
 
- A shot at the basket is now taken when the B key is released instead of pressed.  This will eventually tie in with the AI to determine what type of throw is made and how accurate its going to be.
 
- In a practice game the players now restart beneath the basket in the usual way.
 
For the rest of the day I've been trying to track down a nasty little bug which occasionally happened during a restart (throw-in?).  Basically the AI was getting confused if a player managed to score a basket a few frames before they landed.  Anyway got it sorted and it now works OK.
