A prototype version of Dead Rising for the Xbox 360, commonly referred to as "Pre-E3" or the "50% Build" which predates the final game by 5 months.
Notes
- Created as a Demo for journalists in Las Vegas.
- It takes you on a journey from the Security Room to The Supermarket, where you must acquire Brad's medicine.
- This version has countless differences from the retail version of Dead Rising.
- Textures, models, sounds, effects, and everything in-between is all completely different.
- This build is generally highly unstable
- This release will includes two optional patches to improve the stability of this build. These patches aim to rectify issues in the code that can cause the game to crash extremely often. It also aims to remove any time limits to provide a more limitless and enjoyable experience. The patches can be found in the [Patch] folder.
- It is strongly recommended to play this game on genuine Xbox 360 hardware.
- This demo takes a little while to launch
- The debug menu can be accessed by simultaneously pressing Left Bumper, Right Bumper, Left Stick, Right Stick
- The initial release consists of the files from the DVD, a raw redump of the disc will be made in the future
