A prototype of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for the PlayStation 2
Notes
- An NTSC preview build from around seven weeks before the final game.
- There is no pre-title intro video.
- Only the versus mode is present - as soon as you press start on the title screen, you're taken to the character selection menu.
- There were minor tweaks made to some of the character names (e.g. "Mid." was changed to "Mid").
- The map select screen looks a bit incomplete.
- The only options upon completing a round are to fight again or to return to the character select screen.
- The entire game is hidden in this disc, including all characters and all other modes, but these are locked behind the "Preview" restrictions (such as the incomplete roster selection or the inability to go to any other mode than Versus)
- Has many similarities to the NTSC-J build, despite it being from a different region.
- This build can be possibly found in any copy of Raging Blast 1 for PlayStation 3 (?).
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (as of March 17, 2021).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
