A review sample of Far Cry: Instincts for the Microsoft Xbox.
This beta build 7 was sent to the US official xbox magazine for review.
Notes
- Despite this being a review sample this build still contains full debug functions for xbWatson and full in-game debug menus.
- This build looks like it has crashed when it first boots but really its just loading and could take a few minutes as every command variable has an OutputDebugString that goes with it and all that needs to be logged.
- All maps including the multiplayer ones are unlocked by default in the story mode menu. So you can spawn into any map in the game and have a look at them. MP maps have no AI so it's just you if you want to spawn into those ones.
- Uses E3 2005 intro as intro cutscene

FarCryEd.xbe
Map editor. Allows you to make, save and load custom MP maps.
downloader.xbe
The downloader program for downloading either game updates or MP maps from xbox live. As xbox live is down for original xbox this can not be completely verified.
