A US localization build of Go Vacation for the Wii, which does contain the Debug Menu for testing localization.

Notes

  • Banner sound is leftover from We Ski.
  • Boots into a debug menu instead of going straight to the title screen.
  • Build seems to be for localization purpose, as it does have a lot of unfinished english text.
  • Build may be built less than a few months before release, and game content is not fully finalized.
  • NPC icons resemble more of those seen prerelease footage.
  • NPC placement is a work in progress in a few maps/spots.
  • Pressing C or Z on the Nunchuck when viewing a menu through the debug menu's Viewer, the UI can be hidden. Pressing A after that reenables it.
  • There is a cut "Replay Mode", which shows a cool movie of the previous overworld movement. It also uses a music track unused in the final game.
  • Info spots for every resort are missing, and the changing clothes functionality is completely missing, even the code module for it.
  • Instead of being greeted by staff from the Info spot, there is a quick menu-style introduction when entering a resort first time.
  • The player arrow in the minimap has its center at the sprites center, whereas the final game has the center on the tip of it.
  • The default avatar's hair was changed from brown to bright blonde in the final.
