Notes

  • Partially extracted by funtimeandrefoxy on Mar 15, 2025. Only common.rpf (which was originally fragmented) was recovered. Although some files were later extracted, they were never released to the public.
  • Being an install data, it only contains a few files, namely common.rpf, part0.rpf, part1.rpf, part2.rpf, part3.rpf and part4.rpf. Most of the files that are inside these rpfs no longer exist in the devkit. However, it is possible to recover the filelist of each file via hex and all the parts have almost no difference compared to the final version, those that are much larger are because they have models and/or textures of higher quality compared to the final version.
  • The retail version is 369 while this version is 360.
  • Some notable differences were::
    • The version of the trophy file TROPCONF.SFM in this version is 1.02 while in the retail version it is 1.03. The only "relevant" difference is that the trophy "Trading Pure Alpha" has as a description "Make a profit over your total investments across all three characters in the stock market." instead of "Make a profit over your total investments in the stock market."
    • The common.rpf is the most interesting file of all because it contains the most significant differences and above all, it contains several xml files (related to a dev menu) for both singleplayer, multiplayer and cops n crocks multiplayer. Unfortunately for these scripts to work, an executable containing all the necessary sc would be necessary. Interestingly, the leaked source code does not contain these XML files, but they are necessary for the dev menu to function.
    • Taking into account the changelog for this build, if it were complete, online would be accessible normally (something that would only be done later with updates to the retail version).
