WELCOME TO HELLO NEIGHBOR ALPHA 3

Hello and welcome to Hello Neighbor Alpha 3. This is the 4th build if we count the pre-alpha, but who’s counting?

In this build we have:

- Much more advanced AI

- A huge house that’ll be the base for the final house in-game

- NO DEVELOPER CONSOLE. MWAHAHAHA!

- First pass of the environment outside the house (clues, hint hint)

- A windmill.. ?

Things to know about the AI:

- Worked on pathfinding, the AI should navigate multiple floors

- Widened perception of surroundings. AI reacts to moved objects, opened doors, lights, etc -- depending on his memory of the previous state of said objects

- Modified the traps system, it's now real-time. The AI will now place traps also based on environmental changes, not just player behaviors.

- Added post-failed attacks analysis. AI will analyze what went wrong & why, and try to prevent it from happening again

- AI now sees your flashlight when it's on

- AI now throws glue that slows you down, trying to aim based on your run trajectory

- You're now slightly faster than the AI

Controls:

- WASD to move

- E to interact (hold to pick-up)

- Right-click to throw

- Left-click to use items

- Shift to sprint

- Control to duck

Xbox controllers are also supported but not optimized. There’s no way to rebind controls as of this moment.

================================

So I recently got into cooking and discovered how great garlic is. What you do is squash some garlic, mix that with a bit of olive oil and sirach sauce

(the one with the rooster), and use that as a base for cooking. I just made some bacon & eggs with it, and it’s fantastic. Also throw in a few pieces of

garlic in there, and it’ll be great. I mean, your SO might have issues with the smell, so get some mints as well. Totally worth it, and as my mom said in

Soviet Russia, garlic keeps your immune system up. I’m actually not sure about that.

A quick google search gives me this quote:

“The BBC reported in 2007 that garlic can help prevent and fight the common cold. Allicin is one of the immune stimulating nutrients in garlic that is

released when you cut, chop or crush the cloves. Garlic stimulates the activity of immune system cells that destroy cold and flu viruses.”

So apparently it helps. Don’t get a cold during the holidays!
