A prototype of Hot Wheels: Velocity X for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- Prototype of American origin
- Predates the retail build by two and a half months
- Contains 3 fully playable vehicles which are absent from the final game: Fandango, Jester, and Sweet 16 II.
- Many vehicles contain texture changes (e.g. At-A-Tude with orange spoiler, Super Tuned with red spoiler, Vulture with orange underside and bumpers, etc.)
- Burnout Glacier in Joyride mode uses an early iteration of its map with many changes
- Monument City in Adventure mode uses an earlier model
- Pratically all UI elements save for the gameplay HUD are different
- Main menu music is different
- All Adventure Mode Missions, Challenges and Drag Races have some level of differences compared to the final game; some are even broken
- The Adventure Mode intro cutscene is noticeably unfinished
