A prototype of Jet X2O for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- The PlayStation 2 startup sound can be heard at the beginning of the opening movie.
- The Killer Game logo has audio present.
- Different opening movie featuring early gameplay (different HUD).
- Different loading screen.
- The title screen is slightly different due to the positioning of the logo in the area.
- Many different voice lines.
- CV.SDF, PP.SDF and NAR.SDF contains various voice lines for the other riders, the main menu announcer and the commentators. While some of them go unused, they're very different and were also removed or changed in the final build.
- Eva del Toro is voiced by a separate voice actor before her voice lines were changed for the final build.
- Kenji Tanaka's voice lines are absent.
- Rescue and Trick Modes are not accessible.
- The Options menu is not present.
- The positioning of the main menu in the area is different.
- Only two playable characters, vehicles, and levels.
- Taylor Jordan & Luc LaMouche.
- The Crusher and the Jammer X watercrafts.
- Neotropic & Mesotec.
- Taylor Jordan has more weight in the prototype than he does in the final.
- This build and the August 29th build has a scrapped Free Ride mode, however it doesn't work here in this build.
- Slightly different HUD.
- The steering in this build is much more sensitive than in the final version.
- There are various differences in the music.
- Slightly different tricks.
- Most of the riders are in their beta wetsuits.
- Karin Nielsen and Vladi Zakharov's early names were originally Anika Hansson and Dmitri Zakharov.
- Different sound effects.
- The high score screen is very different.
- Saving in this build is little bit buggy.
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (as of March 17, 2021).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
