A prototype of the unreleased LEGO Super Soccer Adventure for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- To run the game, you'll need to patch the BIN file with this PPF-O-Matic patch made by krHACKen. The original unpatched BIN file will not boot on real hardware or PCSX2 without it, except for the Play! PS2 Emulator.
General Notes
- This is the most polished build for the PS2 out of the other 2 builds released.
- This build has a slightly broken Load/Save function for the memory card upon bootup.
- The title screen music is Eat My Goal by Collapsed Lung.
- Only 4 levels are accessible through the title screen.
- World: 2 Level: 1 - The Wild West Town
- World: 2 Level: 2 - The Runaway Train
- World: 4 Level: 2 - Mini Game 1
- World: 4 Level: 4 - Mini Game 2
- The main protagonist of the game; Striker is shown on the title screen playing with the soccer ball in front of a western background.
- Selecting a level will make Striker kick the ball and run off-screen showing the controls for the game as the soccer ball bounces around while the game loads.
- Pressing CIRCLE on the title screen shows the "Developed by Blitz Games" screen.
- Pressing SELECT opens up a debug menu.
- You're able to Load/Save the game here with the memory card. It'll also show up in the PS2 Browser as Corrupted Data.
- There's a texture viewer which includes a few unused graphics and the names of the characters.
- Some options in the debug menu will cause the game to crash.
Gameplay Notes
- This game has an announcer named Motty that shows up on the bottom right side of the screen and commentates on whatever goes on.
- The Wild West Town & The Runaway Train are the only levels in this build with animated cutscenes complete with audio.
- Unique to this build are cutscenes for kicking open the entry door to the town with the ball, entering the Saloon, rescuing your other teammate and opening the door to the barn, getting on the train and stopping the runaway train.
- Every cutscene has missing shadows.
- Signs are placed around The Wild West Town which provides some tips for the controls.
- There are hidden jerseys and shorts that you can find and collect in The Wild West Town.
- You can even wear them by going into the Kit Selection Screen option through the pause menu.
- Some slightly buggy collision.
Controls
- The D-PAD or the Left Analog Stick moves Striker.
- The Right Analog Stick zooms and rotates the camera.
- START pauses the game.
Moveset:
- TRIANGLE flicks the ball up.
- CIRCLE is used for jumping and doing a header with the ball.
- X is used for slide tackling, shooting the ball and volleying.
- SQUARE does a lob, an overhead kick and a jab tackle.
- L1/R1 makes Striker feint and confuse enemies trying to get the ball.
- L3 teleports the ball back to you.
- R3 rotates the camera 180°.
Miscellaneous Notes
- Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (with patch) (As of March 3, 2024).
