A Network Patch Update prototype of Sonic R for PC (even through this isn't a post-release proto, however).

Notes

• This is what appears to be a prototype of the network patch for Sonic R. Both the prototype (sonicr.exe) and the self-extracting installer it was stored in (SR_NET.EXE) are included.
• It has a few debugging features, such as printing [hr_temp=DP_OK] at the top-left of the screen and producing a 'sonicr.log' file in the install directory.
• It's also missing the text on the main menu screen. Otherwise it plays about the same, but more investigation still needs to be done.
• This was found on a copy of Sonic R bundled with the Sonic 3D Blast/Sonic R Twin Pack published by Activision Value.
• The file was located under the 'NETWORK' directory on the root of the CD. It had a last-modified date of August 19, 1999 09:20:44. The file inside has a last-modified date of February 2, 1999 15:23:00.
