Notes

  • This dlc was found on the hdd SAMSUNG500GB. This dlc was extracted by funtimeandrefoxy on Feb 10, 2025.
  • This DLC is a test for the planned downloadable Character Missions/Amigo Story DLCs that were referenced in the final game's text files, but went unreleased.
  • This DLC's files uses the folder that would later be used for the released Team Attack Amigo DLC, which was released in January of 2007, indicating that it was likely built off of this one.
  • Text for the DLC only exists in Japanese, and every other language's text is dummied out. None of the text is particularly interesting, and mostly is just directing to the next part of the test. All other text for the hub stages is normal.
  • The files for the DLC and the main menu screen use a playable version of Mephiles, a character who is only a boss in the final game. No unused text strings in the final game indicate that he was planned to be playable at any point in development, and his scripts are copies of Tails' except for the Episode Select model.
  • The layouts of Soleanna Castle Town and New City seem to be based on the final version, but all of the human character's voice grunts are repeated every frame, for some reason.
  • Tails' Wave Ocean is largely the same as his final version, but the version of Radical Train used in the DLC is not the same one that would be used in Team Attack Amigo. Instead it is based off of Sonic's, but with the ending set to where the act transition normally would be.
  • The two missions used in the test are two of Sonic's missions, but played with Tails. They feature two unique NPC names, Kiara and Laura, that are not present in the final version of the game. The Japanese text specifically defines the second mission as a test for Kynapse, the game's AI program.
  • Many of the results screens lack proper cameras or placement, and the final one is not disposed of properly, softlocking the game.
