A prototype of Star Trek: Invasion for the PlayStation.
Notes
- Europe region prototype
- Does not work in Mednafen (Video Standard Mismatch)
- More generic Activision logo (not Star Trek themed)
- No opening cut scene, disclaimers, etc.; it goes straight to the main menu
- Slight differences in the main menu
- Music playing in it is also slightly different
- Different options
- Really basic mission view/summary, without the hologram display and other details
- The title screen music keeps playing here, instead of there being a voice over briefing
- Only Mission 1 is available
- Much simpler mission briefing text, with no voice-over narrating the text
- Emptier loading screen, with no mission objectives, audio etc.
- Different lead-up to the gameplay
- No on-screen control tips
- Timer is shorter
- Training stage itself is different, with different music
- Difference in the heads-up display
- Ship is already moving without needing to accelerate
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable: Issues (as of April 17, 2021).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
- Game contains debugging symbols: N/A
