A prototype of Street Fighter 2010 for the Famicom.
Background
Found in an archive of Bung Game Doctor and Bung Game Master disk images curated by Tomy (of ToToTEK fame). While the games on these disks are primarily pirated copies of final games, this appears to be a prototype. The original Bung-formatted files are included, along with an iNES file that combines all four images.
Notes
- Missing the ステイタス copyright found in the final version
- Pressing Select disables the in-game HUD
- Significant code changes confirm this is not a hack
- File types in the 7-zip include the original four Bung images, their required preboot file, a combined *.FQD file for emulating this in NintendulatorNRS, and an iNES conversion for playing elsewhere
- NOTE: The Bung Game Master can handle MMC3 games natively, so it is very likely that this is a clean dump of a cartridge, with no mapper conversions having been done by the system.
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable: Maybe? (as of January 9, 2026)
