An early prototype of Street Racer for the SNES.
Notes
- Different Ubisoft logo screen.
- Different title screen with different song track.
- This build is missing the "soccer/rumble" speed option on the options menu. The options menu also contains an extra S where it says SSR on the top right of the menu that was removed for the final.
- To advance to another screen on the main menu in the prototype you press B, in the final you press START.
- The "Pitch" menu is present but selecting anything on this menu freezes the game.
- All the racers have different stats. The character "Surf" has a different portrait on the character select menu.
- Incomplete courses. Boundaries aren't as solid as they would become for the final. Course maps aren't visible. Difficult AI in comparison to the final.
- Practice menu is different and lacks the character portraits as seen in the final build. Many track names are missing.
- Rumble and Soccer mode is still in early development.
