A prototype of Test Drive Off-Road for the PlayStation.
Notes
- At startup, there is a loading screen with a red Jeep icon instead of the disclaimer screen.
- No other logos, screens, sequences, etc. It goes straight to the main menu.
- Main menu is much simpler, no music or sound, and the options are different. Some options are unavailable.
- There is only 1 vehicle (Hummer), with just different pain options. No voice-over to name the selected vehicle.
- Selecting Race just loads a race immediately after a few seconds of loading right on the title screen.
- VERY early and rudimentary, as evident once the race begins.
- There is no preparation time, no countdown, nothing. The race begins as soon as the screen appears.
- Opponent cars just speed on away.
- Absolutely no sound or music.
- Very simple display with no map, speedometer or race position.
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable: Yes (as of April 17, 2021).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
- Game contains debugging symbols: N/A
- Dump was originally scrambled: No.
